Rolls From The Thomas Jefferson Green PapersThis online Index contains transcriptions of rolls and lists from the personal papers of Texas Brigadier General Thomas Jefferson Green who brought the materials back to his home in North Carolina after the Revolution. The collection is now at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill [A10]. Of the 21 rolls and lists, 12 are descriptive rolls, showing personal characteristics, place of residence, and in some, next of kin. Almost all of the rolls interweave in time with rolls in the TGLO muster roll book, MUSTER ROLLS #2 1856/1857 [A3], and are signed by the captains. (The captains' muster roll signatures were compared with other Republic documents, as noted on the Transcription pages.) The following are the Index listings for rolls and lists in the Thomas Jefferson Green Papers. These Index listings appear also in the Index group, Revolution and Following Year 1835-1837. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= = ROLLS FROM T.J.
