To the Sheriff of the County of Miller:

Greetings: You are hereby commanded to summon James Ward, Junior, Jesse Moren, John Robbins, George W. Wright and Joseph Porter, agreeable to an order of our last county court to view and mark out a road leading from Jonesboro to the crossing of Pecan Point and that they report their proceedings to the next term of the court. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my private seal, there being no seal provided for this county. Done at my office in Jonesboro the 23rd Sept., 1833, and of the Independence of the United States of America the fifty-eighth year.
