Another very prominent family in the past history of Red River County was the Bagbys, George H. Bagby and Margaret Latimer Bagby. Their children were: Daniel Bagby, Lucy Bagby Russell, Ballard Chandler Bagby, Thomas Madison Bagby, George Bagby Young[?], William Henry Bagby, and Margaret Bagby Watson. There were also two children, who died before they reached maturity.
